not as short as I'd hoped

Maybe it's because the fabric is super stretchy, but I'm 5 '8 and these come mid thigh on me so I still have to hike them up which leaves them kind of bunchy. Not quite what I was hoping for in a "short" short.

best ever shorts

Ditto with Laurie from Breckenridge. The T-Short Short is great. I just gave up one of my older pair - maybe 5+ yrs old? but I keep 3 pair to rotate. Very soft, comfortable leg w/o being to snug. I'm 5'6" and most legs are too long, so this shorter length isn't too extremely short on me. I also have a pair of the mid-length shorts and love them equally as well. Only drawback, and this seems to be the norm to a lot of shorts, is the chamois have become rather bulky compared to what they used to be - don't feel like more is better with that.

awesome shorts

Have always loved these, been wearing them for 15 years. I teach 2-3 cycle classes a week. I don't buy them a lot, since they last forever. Great fit.

FINALLY found a pair that FITS!

I hate bike shorts. I always look like a sausage in them which is strange since I'm 5'5 and 130 but my thighs do not like shorter bike shorts but I do. I tried these because they said they had no leg grippers. when tried them on, I couldn't believe how well they fit and how comfortable they were. And they look great No sausage look. I think they are actually kind of cute which is unheard of for bike shorts really. They are really pricey but I'm seriously considering getting another pair because I love them so much.

Great short length

I own a pair of Terry Bella bike shorts, which I love, BUT I really prefer the shorter length bike shorts (especially in the summer). I was debating between the shorter length Bella shorts and these. I opted for these because the description said they had a soft woven leg gripper (which is NOT what the Bella shorts have). I really don't like leg grippers at all. The T-short was the right choice! The leg grippers don't squeeze at all, almost as if there aren't leg grippers. The Bella shorts have very tight leg grippers, which are fine on longer shorts but not on shorter shorts that will dig into the middle of your thigh (not a great sausage look). The Bella shorts have the shiny, slippery fabric where these are a softer matte fabric. I honestly like them both, but in case you are wondering, I thought I'd mention that. They both have the same chamois, which is good. The only improvement I think Terry can make on their shorts is to make a cutaway chamois (a chamois with a channel that matches the cutaway on most women's saddles). I only own one pair of bike shorts more comfortable than my Terry ones, and that's the difference (besides the fact that they also cost a lot more)! Other than that, I would highly recommend these shorts as well as the Bella shorts. I was worried I wouldn't like the thinner waistband in these shorts as well as I like the wide waistband on the Bella shorts, but it doesn't seem to bother me, even though I have had twins and a 3rd child and don't have the tightest skin around the middle. ;) BTW, I'm 5'4", 125 lbs, and the medium fits me best (My hips/thighs are my widest part). Paying extra money for a good pair of bike shorts is SO worth it. I ride 50+ mile bike rides weekly and over 100 miles per week, and these shorts work really well, even in the Texas heat! Add a Terry saddle to go with your Terry shorts, and you're good to go!! :)

Nice shorts

I really like these shorts. I am 5'2", 120 lbs and ordered the medium. They are very comfortable and the fabric feels very smooth. I felt like they supported my muscles while riding. I like they are a little longer than other "short" shorts and I don't get that rubbed spot on my legs like with other shorts. I look forward to riding with these on. I have only worn them once on a short 20 mile ride but they felt great. I think they are a bit pricey but you can't beat the comfort level you get with these shorts from the first time you wear them.

I have been looking for a bike short that holds up to the elements on long (4+ hour) rides! I love these! They are just the right length for me as I am 5'3" and they don't bulk up or fold over at the waist like some others I have purchased! I love these so much I bought two pair! :)
