About Dude Girl: Kim McElhinney's grandmother provided not only the name but the inspiration for her company after going on a two-month "trail ride" with 3 girlfriends from Laramie Wyoming to southern California in 1928 and documenting it all in book called "Dude Girl". Nearly a century later, her grand daughter conducts trips and creates western-motif clothing for modern day riders (though on bike, not horseback).
