Security
How does Terry protect your information regarding online purchases?
At Terry, all pages of our web site and checkout process use up to date TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption that ensures the secure transmission of any personal information. This allows you to shop with confidence at terrybicycles.com.
Up to Date Secure Connection Requirements
Visitors using our secure pages and checkout must use a browser that supports up to date connection methods required by the credit card industry. Older browsers may not be able to connect to our site securely.
You can confirm that your browser is connected securely by clicking the padlock icon in the address bar of your browser, which opens a panel with information about your connection status.
If you do not find the padlock icon or find you cannot access our checkout or account pages, you may need to upgrade your browser to the latest version.

Technical Details
The connection protocol concerned is called TLS (Transport Layer Security). Browsers must default to using TLS version 1.1 or 1.2 to connect to any secure page (where the web address begins with https rather than http). Our web sites no longer allow connections using the older TLS version 1.0, which may affect visitors using older web browsers.
This is a measure required by credit card processors in order to meet industry standards for safeguarding payment data. All merchants handling credit card data are required to meet this standard. Our web host is fully compliant with this standard.
