The Wild Goose Chase

The 2009 Wild Goose Chase, sponsored by Terry Precision Cycling and GORE BIKE WEAR™, will be held on Sunday, May 3. This one day bicycle tour for women takes place in and around Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge , in Cambridge, Maryland on the Eastern Shore. It's a spectacular way to enjoy early-season cycling while contributing to a great cause. 100% of your ride registration fee will be donated to the Friends of Blackwater in support of Blackwater. Last year we raised $18,600 for the Refuge.
Come and join us for a day of riding (lengths vary from 10 to 62 miles), eating, shopping and meeting new friends. The terrain is dead flat, the scenery is spectacular and the roads are quiet. It's perfect for everyone from beginners just getting into the sport to seasoned pros who want some early season miles to stretch their legs. Come the day before and enjoy kayaking and self-guided bike tours of the area.
