The Tempest 6 has a women-specific fit harness with curves designed to accommodate a wide variety of women's body shapes and sizes. It was built to lower the position of the load to a woman's center of gravity, allowing for greater freedom of movement and increased stability. Because women's hips are conically shaped with a larger difference between waist and hip measurements, the hipbelt is angled and shaped to accommodate this difference and create a more comfortable load transfer.
